Dealing with rejection

Are you dealing with rejection? Know that rejection is people's opinion about you and not God's opinion. Rejection affects our personality and we feel abandonned, hopeless, imperfect and unworthy. Rejection is one of the weapons used by Satan to destroy the life of many because a feeling of not fiting in any social group or community will cause us to be what we are not as we try to please others s o that we can be accepted. Rejection brings emotional wounds that can lead to insecurity, lack of forgiveness, bad self esteem, etc.... God has created us to be loved, accepted and cheriched by Him. Do you want to overcome rejection? Believe that God wants to take you up even when others have abandonned you. Here are some Bible verses that will help you to set your mind on the things above: Genesis 28:15 And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee....; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of. Deuteronomy 31:8 " And the LORD, he it is...

Body of Christ, stand up and preach love and unity

Paul wrote in Colossians 3:8-14 "But now do ye also put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, railing, shameful speaking out of your mouth: lie not one to another; seeing that ye have put off the old man with his doings, and have put on the new man, that is being renewed unto knowledge after the image of him that created him: where there cannot be Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, bar barian, Scythian, bondman, freeman; but Christ is all, and in all. Put on therefore, as God's elect, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, meekness, longsuffering; forbearing one another, and forgiving each other, if any man have a complaint against any; even as the Lord forgave you, so also do ye: and above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfectness. " While the hatred, patriotism, nationalism, racism and xenophobia are increasing everywhere in different societies in Africa, Europe, America, etc ..., it is high time for the Church B...

The cycle of sin can be broken

And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die; For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. (Genesis 3:4-5) Today, there is a tendency to minimize the penalty for sin. People say, "Surely a righteous God could not send anyone to Hell!" Actually, God does not send anyone to Hell. Man chooses to go there by his own sinful actions. The penalty for sin remains everlasting separation from the presence of God in Hell. People often do not identify sin for what it is. Abortion is called a method of "birth control" instead of murder. Adulterous relationships are sometimes referred to as "affairs." It is important to recognize this pattern, for it is one Satan still uses when he tempts us to sin. He accuses the Word of God and tries to cause discontentment. The Bible declares in Act 4:12  "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other na...

Godly Sincerity Concerning God's Word

For we are not, as so many, peddling the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ.  (2Co_2:17) Godly sincerity concerning God's word is another characteristic that the Lord desires to mark us with by His grace. "For we are not, as so many, peddling the word of God; but as of sincerity . . . we speak." The manner in which we relate to the word of God is a high priority to our Lord. In the early church, some were already relating wrongly to God's word. "For we are not, as so many, peddling the word of God." They were using the word of God for self-gain. The scriptures warn us about the temptation that people would face concerning inappropriate uses of the word. "There are many insubordinate, both idle talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision, whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole households, teaching things which they ought not, for the sake of dishonest gain" (Tit_1:1...

I will come forth as gold through my suffering

Job 23:10 But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold No one in this world wishes to suffer. suffering is considered a negative thing because it makes us to feel rejected, abandoned and bitterness fills our hearts as we suffer. But if we look deeper, we can see that suffering has a power to transform and bring brighter days in our lives. The Bible declares that "many are the afflictions of the righteous" (Psalms 34:19). Job was a God's fearing and righteous person. But despise all his holiness he had to go through suffering. But at times we wonder how does God permit suffering to come to someone who is living righteously within the will of God?  Well here is the answer: God did not create suffering. It originally entered the world through man’s sin (Genesis 3). But God can take that which is intended for evil and use it for good to accomplish His purposes.   Suffering is sometimes compared to a natural storm. When ...
