Exodus 33: 21 And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: 22 And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: 23 And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen. Like Moses, we want to see the glory of God manifested in our lives. God didn’t show his glory to Moses but He asked Moses to stand on a rock by the side of God. The rock is the image of Christ ( 1 corinthians 10:4 ). When we stand on the Rock, the glory of God will pass us by and the hand of God will cover us and protect us against every evil. When we stand and build our lives on the Rock, we will stand firm even in the time of troubles and storms ( Luke 6:48 ) When we stand on the Rock, streams of living water will flow from our bellies and the grace of God will be sufficient to us.
