Beyond expectations
For two weeks ago, I shared this preaching with my brothers and sisters in our cell in Örebro where I live. I was so touched by what God wants to do in the lives of His people. I was inspired to talk preach about the things that stopp us to see that God always did and still doing to us exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think. He always works beyond our expectations.
In the book pf Ephesians chapter 3, from vers 14 to vers 21, Paul says:"
If we look in the Bible, we can see that wherever Jesus was, He exceeded people's expectations. He always did something beyond the wishes or the expectations of people. The problem is that it is difficult for us to see or consider all the good works of Jesus in our lives, we are so worried about what happens around us.
The only thing that can stand on our ways to see God working is our worries. We are so worried about everything: school, jobb, children, marriage,.... But if we take a second and realize that we have a mighty and powerful God, we will no longer be worried about the things of the world. Jesus said to his disciples in Matthew 6:25-34 that we don't need to worry about what we will eat, drink och wear. But our Heavenly Father knows what is good to us. By that He was teaching them that the same God who created life in us can be trusted even when it is about the small details of our lives. To be worried about the past and the future disturbs our efforts for today. Many people can keep the problems from yesterday and they sleep and wake up with these problems in their mind; but they don't know that they are adding today's trouble with yesterday's and tomorrow´s worries. By doing that is showing a lack of faith in God. We need to live one day at time because each day has its own trouble.
We need to live one day at time, that keeps us from being consumed with worries. It doesn't mean that we shall not have projects and plans for the future, but we shall commit all our plans, projects and worries in the hands of the Master because He does care for us (1Peter 5:7)
My prayer is that we may be able to understand how deep God loves us and that He is able to do beyond our expectations.
May God bless you all!!!!!

In the book pf Ephesians chapter 3, from vers 14 to vers 21, Paul says:"
For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen."
