Remember your God

Deuteronomy 6:10-13

10“So it shall be, when the LORD your God brings you into the land of which He swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give you large and beautiful cities which you did not build,
11 houses full of all good things, which you did not fill, hewn-out wells which you did not dig, vineyards and olive trees which you did not plant—when you have eaten and are full—
12 then beware, lest you forget the LORD who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
13 You shall fear the LORD your God and serve Him, and shall take oaths in His name.

Just few hours left before the year 2009 be written on the walls of history. It has been a good year for some of us, and for others it was not so good as they expected it to be. But I think that no matter how this year has been, the most important thing is that you are still alive. In all those things we have been through the only thing we can say it is that God has been with us. He kept us, he protected us and He is bringing us out of 2009.
I just want to tell you brothers and sisters that if He did that to us or for us, it is not that we were so special or better than others, it's because He loves us. In Deuteronomy 7:7-8, the Bible says "The LORD did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any other people, for you were the least of all peoples; but because the LORD loves you...."
We can't boast ourselves for what we did but we have to boast in the Lord.

Remember your God who kept you, fought for you and gave you victory in all.
Remember your God who gave you the breath of life for free and who renewed his grace and compassion every day during 2009
Remember your God who gives you the opportunity to enter into 2010, a large and beautiful year which you did not deserve; a year full of all good things, which you did not work for.

Praise Him then for what he did and for what He is about to do. But first of all praise God for what He is; He is your all!!!!!

He asks us two things: to fear Him and to serve Him in truth and spirit during this coming year and all the rest of our life on this earth.

Remember your God in all!!!!

Remain blessed and Happy New year!!!!!!!
