Dealing with rejection
Are you dealing with rejection? Know that rejection is people's opinion about you and not God's opinion. Rejection affects our personality and we feel abandonned, hopeless, imperfect and unworthy. Rejection is one of the weapons used by Satan to destroy the life of many because a feeling of not fiting in any social group or community will cause us to be what we are not as we try to please others s
o that we can be accepted. Rejection brings emotional wounds that can lead to insecurity, lack of forgiveness, bad self esteem, etc....
God has created us to be loved, accepted and cheriched by Him.
Do you want to overcome rejection? Believe that God wants to take you up even when others have abandonned you. Here are some Bible verses that will help you to set your mind on the things above:
Genesis 28:15 And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee....; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.
Deuteronomy 31:8 " And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed"
Psalm 27:10 "When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up."
Psalm 37:25 "I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread."
2Corinthians 4:8-10 : "8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body"
