Let us hold fast the confession of our hope

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.” — Hebrews 10:23 (NKJV)

There are moments in life when holding on feels harder than letting go. When the waiting seems endless, when prayers echo back in silence, and when promises spoken long ago feel distant and faint. Yet in these moments, the Spirit whispers a truth that has never failed: He who made the promise is faithful.
The faithfulness of God is not measured by how quickly we see results, but by how surely He fulfills what He has spoken. God does not forget His word. Time may test it, but time cannot break it.
When the writer of Hebrews says “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering,” it’s not a call to blind optimism; it’s a call to anchored trust. The storms may come, the night may be long, and tears may fall, but our faith must stay firm, not because our strength is enough, but because His promise cannot fail.
Think of what this means personally:
When your prayers for your children seem unanswered — He who promised is faithful.
When your health wavers and you feel weary — He who promised is faithful.
When you’ve fallen and feel unworthy of restoration — He who promised is faithful.
Faithfulness is not something God does; it is who He is. He cannot deny Himself. Every word that proceeds from His mouth carries the seal of eternity.
So, beloved, do not lose heart. The same God who called you will complete what He began. The same voice that spoke light into darkness will speak life into your situation. The same Jesus who died and rose again will never forsake you in your waiting season.
Lift your head. Strengthen your grip. Keep confessing your hope.
Because even when you can’t see it — He who made the promise is faithful.
Stay blessed and rapturable!
